Morning ya'll.
I gotta talk a bit about fence riders today.
If you believe in something, enough to take a stand, don't be a fence rider. Stick to your guns.
I'm surprised to see some people's idea of "convictions" drastatically change based on the crowd that surrounds them. This represents weakness in my opinon.
I may have been called opinionated a time or two, but at least everyone I know, is clearly aware of what I believe in.
Don't fight the fight, unless you fight a good fight. That's all I'm sayin'.
Stick to your guns. Period.
I've tried to teach The Bumpkin this a time or two, it's been a battle, but she's finally getting it.
Who are the fence riders in your lives? Would you respect them more, if they took a stand?
Do represent what you don't believe in. Focus on the things you do.
Got a few things in mind coming up on Sundays, wanna cook a redfish with me?
How about we boil some crawfish together, the right way, Lafouche Parish style?
Have a good one.

Unfortunately for those around me when I am passionate about something I don't sit on the fence. I jump down with all guns blazing. Sometimes to the shock and dismay of my family and friends. I don't want to go to my grave being wishy-washy. When my kids were younger and would say "I don't care!" I would grab 'em and say "Have an opinion...apathy is pathetic."
But perhaps I just don't have an opinion one way or another on this post!
Some good advice there I have to say....and yes that food sounds great, count me in :)
