Momma just called ~ she lived in Key West for 8 of the last 10 years ~ she has been talking to friends who still live there and they're starting to see tar balls on the shoreline. It makes me so sad!

I just saw the note from preppybumpkin about Tar balls on key west.... that makes me so angry, because just last night on NPR they were interviewing scientists who had modeled the under water current for the oil spill and the scientists were saying the oil has caught into that current and will likely travel around the tip of florida, and the gov't official and BP officials interviewed in the article said the exact opposite.... and yet here we are with Tar balls rolling up on Florida beaches....

So, so sad!
