Captain John's Sunday Morning Jam

Mornin,

Sorry no fishing tips today. Rogue rescues under way. First things first, I hope you understand. There's a bunch of angry eyes around here today.

Semper Fi,

Captain John

Indeed this is such a shame.
Please read this article posted on Rick's Blog.

Rick is editor of the Pensacola Independent News.
Basically the US Fish & Wildlife is telling our local Wildlife Sanctuary to NOT rescue or care for any wildlife hurt by the BP oil spill. BP has hired a contractor to do that. Pray for these animals.

also interesting:

Bobby Kennedy, Jr. told him that he had seen tactics like this before and that he believes that BP is trying to control any information released to the media.

“Rick, they don’t want the public to get a real head count of the damage to wildlife or see the real damage being done to our shores, bays and estuaries,” Kennedy says.

Just about all we're told out here is that Obama has finally made a trip over there - today? Big deal, and too little, too late. Right?!
Hang tough, blog sis!
Hugs,

My heart is so broken for all the wild life down there. A big chunk of my heart lives in Oranghe Beach Alabama where we vacation every other year & I often think of those LIVING on the coast during this time & how it is effecting you all. ...Seriously breaks my heart.
