Sigh....as a Louisianian I am so saddened and outraged over this whole thing! So angry bc there was essentially no plan to deal with a disaster of this scale by BP or our government. Now that we are 40 days into this crisis the oil is still flowing and I feel like our leaders just jumped in the back seat and keep pointing their fingers at BP.
It is time for us to stand up and do something...(like approve the dredging plan for our state! Ughhh)
Enough venting for now...thank u for spreading awareness of this horrible disaster!

I get sick to my stomach when I see the slightest bit of oil from a boat in the lake we go fishing in. This is just dispicable - and I have no idea how to spell despicable.

You know my interest on your posts and those of your captain. I am with you from the beginning.. appreciating your efforts against the misinformation, the lies and everything told or not told by the authorities, the media and BP.
For that, in my next post .. there will be a line for you.
Please dont miss it.
Have a weekend as good as it can be.. under the circumstances.
Costas.

I live in Texas, and this oil spill bothers me all the way down to my bones. I had trouble getting through all the pictures you posted. It hurts my heart something fierce, and I wished I could drive down to the coast to volunteer, b/c I would in a heart beat. But, I am having major surgery at the end of this week.

Thank you for posting it.

In response to your comment: Have you ever seen Southern Belles of Louisville. It was on SoapNet so if you haven't, don't judge me. You could do a season two in your own city! I'd watch! :)
