See For Yourself, Feel What We Feel!

Turn it up, ya'll, this is the song we play every morning before we leave.

Get em', get em', get em' Captain!

Closed up tight. No seafood, no livelihood.

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words...........she's crying, poor baby.....

Soaking it up.

From behind a skimmer, you can see how it works in this picture.

These water spouts are making it extra dangerous for the clean up workers.

Your love and prayers have us wrapped up safe and sound.
We love you all!

I have no words.
The picture of the little girl brought me to tears.

That picture of the oil wave is so traumatic. Are these pictures take by the captain?

So sad . . . my heart breaks down when I see animals suffering. :( When I think about this for too long, I can barely handle the ache. Can't believe it's still happening!!

I'm so sorry you are now experiencing this firsthand. Hard to believe. Sometimes I forget, then I smell outside and see the beach and I remember. HUGS to you, my friend. Hang in there. At least our captains are trying to help. XOXO

Pictures do speak a thousand words. So tragic. Continuous thoughts and prayers to all in the Gulf.

"Swim, swim, swim. Fly, fly, fly."

Bumpkin I have to say these pictures just gave me the chills. I'm sending my family in Canada to your blog b/c they have so many questions about the spill b/c we are oil and gas people up there working on the rigs and having them on our land.

The oil in the waves and water, the child crying on the beach, the closed businesses, the poor, poor wildlife...I just don't know what to say. I told the Chef about the Fishing Rodeo and the fireworks last night and had to repeat myself 3x before he finally just stared at me dumbfounded and realized I was saying what I was saying.

You hang in there! That hubby of yours (and his colleagues) - these are stand-up men and women of integrity and strength. It's heartbreaking from here so I can't even imagine what a toll it must take when it's right in front of your eyes daily.

ugh

Images of sadness and some of hope. My prayers are still with you and the Captain and the Gulf. Have missed you too. But, I completely understand. You have been dealing with more than enough! Much love to you.

Most of us, swimming against the tides of trouble the world knows nothing about, need only a bit of praise or encouragement - and we will make the goal. ~Jerome Fleishman

I cannot fully understand how you all must feel, please know you are and continue to be in my prayers!
Much love

My one word wednesday post was really about all of this...crap!!! I am using some of your pics to drive it home today. I don't think the US, let alone the rest of the world, realize what we have lost. And are still losing. But, trying to savor, thanks to good people like you and the Capt!

So sad looking at these pictures....seeing that little girl crying, breaks my heart. Why does it seem that the media is downplaying the severity of this disaster? So very sad.

I just wanted to say I posted something to Trish about the oil and she sent me to your blog!
This is just so heart breaking. I live on the water in South Carolina, my dad is a huge fisherman, and he seriously hates what's going on! It's just so sad, not many people are affected by it cause they don't see whats actually going on! As I was driving on Florida's coast a lot of restaurants didn't have what was on the Menu, thanks to BP. It's just sad.. Thank you so much for putting these pictures up! I just pray for the best ♥
