Pink and Green Fashion Photography

This one is going to be more green than pink, because I am so excited to tell you that tomorrow, I am being bestowed the honor of being featured at 504 Main, as the Tickled Pink Lady! I am so excited, so come back tomorrow for a Fabulous Pink Day here at the swing! I am stepping it up a little for fun! Friday Favorites will be postponed till next week, due to this little lovely surprise!

Ever have one of those weeks that you feel you are fumbling through life, I am having one this week. Don't know what it is, can't put my finger on it!

I've been reading alot, and doing my own little study on photography lately. A picture is so much more than a pretty little thing. Some photographers, are really good, and they stretch your imagination with just the click of their finger. I think I understand what they mean when they say "a good eye." I'm going to share a little with you today about what I've learned. It's a little racy, so don't just scroll to the bottom look at the pictures, and say, love the pics in the comment section. This is good shizz ya'll.

Look at the details of photographs when you see them. You'll get a kick out of it sometimes. Great use of the roses here. Her who-ha was showing, so the stylist creatively used roses instead. She still shows off the blue tights, but doesn't make the photo improper, and it can be used widely. Another great pair of shoes here! Jus' sayin.

Another thing I love about fashion photography is the expressions that the models sometimes have on their face. This one is either exhaustion or despair, can't decide. One thing I am sure of, is I love the shoes. Sexy or sweet ya'll I am asking for a reason. My opinion is that the photographer thought it was too sweet for his taste, so he had her spread her legs wide open, to sleaze her up a bit. So, I'm also saying exhausted. Enough said, you get it right?

Another thing I love is when they use today's fashions to recreate history. Who's this? Come on ya'll, don't overthink it.

Has anyone ever actually seen a copy of Lulu Magazine. The online scrapbook is amazing, but $27.00 an issue is the cheapest I can find it. Tell me what's so wonderful about it, is it big, what is it, that makes it so expensive? Jen, the minute I saw this picture I thought of you.

Another thing I have observed, when modeling this shade of green or even lighter, seems they love to use the bright redheaded models. Did you ever know that a stylist goes into to so much detail?

A hard click to take, without it being a complete blur, great one Eric whoever you are! The whole focus is the tights now, literally, and thought wise. I mean what was the first thing you noticed?

Have you ever noticed that the soft pink pictures are sweet, with roses, and flawless models, but that the hot pink pictures are racy, with trampy looking models, and just on the edge of ummmm sleazy? There are a few exceptions, but for the most part. Let's see a model in baby pink, tramp it up! I heard from a Captain I know that soft pink, blush if you will, can also be very sleazy sexy! To mean there are two ways to be sexy. There's sweet sexy, when you want to love and cherish another human. Then there's sleazy sexy, when you wanna rock his boat honey! I should have said 3, because there is also Trashy sexy, but to me, trashy is never sexy. But like they say, some men like their women a little on the trashy side.

I recently lost a follower, her explanation was due to racy pics, so this one's for you honey, because I still see you reading! I wonder does she have a television, because it gets alot racier on the tube!

Why on earth would anyone STOP being a follower due to racy pics? :) Bright red hair looks so stunning with that color green, gotta say.

Where oh where to begin?! I love the irony of the sexy undies and the stuffed animal. The third picture makes you really look to figure out her body position. It's like she sort of just disappears. Stunning!

My motto: The racier the better!! ;-) But dear, you know me too well, those stockings are FAB! And the ones in the last picture? Even more FAB! I need to quit stalling and just get me a pair for myself! Oh the fun that I'd have ;-)

Ha ha - you're too funny! I love the pictures. I can pretty much stare at stills & photos from Sophia Coppolla's Marie Antoinette all day long. And the woman in the first green dress has great ta-tas. Piper = Jealous.

So pleased you went into this honey, there is sooo much more going on in a photograph then you realise. The work they put into getting great shots is amazing.

You were spot on about my post yesterday, it was more art not so much fashion. I just love photography.

fabulous post darling! love the green dress picture... I do think she's exhausted, but I thought perhaps the photographer had her spread her legs to capture the movement of that great skirt.... either way it's a gritty/girly photo!

there's racy and there's pushing limits. Eric Guillemain does a lot that is pretty questionable.
