A miracle has occured.
The New Orleans Saints are going to The Superbowl.

The fans here were a little over the top yesterday. They are orbiting the moon today. Some fans are saying yesterday was "the best day of their lives."

As the field goal was kicked to end the game in overtime, I stepped outside for a swing ride.

IT WAS LIKE THE MILLENIUM ya'll. Fireworks from the casinos. Gunshots in the air. Horns blowing, people shouting. It is a party here today.

These Saints fans are die hard. It is going to be something to remember in the future. These folks are raised to party hard, and love their Saints. Can't wait to see all the fun.

I want to document this for all my readers a bit. I'm going to let you all see, through posts from now until The Big Sunday.

Even Mickey is in on this one.

They had huge bonfires on The Mississippi River last night. Check this one out. This could be seen burning for miles I am sure.

Here's another.

This and anything Saints for a party was sold in the grocery stores yesterday.

This man was my favorite. Love this! Very New Orleans!

You Go Girl! Hope you make there, and keep the husband in the process.

I told you they were over the top. "Elvis" drives this car.

A Saints fan in a Saints van.

Who are the people in your neighborhood? They are Saints fans! Love the parasols.

One Vikings fan seen all day, must be from Mississippi. Poor Brett, he took it hard last night.

These ladies are called the Saintsations. They do great animal charity work!
Not just pretty girls, they make a difference for Animal Rescue New Orleans!

Pat O'Briens. What a party on Bourbon Street last night. I heard the hurricanes were black and gold yesterday. Did you see it during the game?
I have never seen Bourbon street empty. Never. Only during a Saints game in overtime for a Superbowl ride.

Cutie pie!

Too much! Too much!

At a New Orleans Hornets game last week for date night. She kept him for an entire week. Bet she keeps him for at least two more. Did not see her there last night however....????????????????

Artificial trees usually change from Christmas Trees to Mardi Gras Trees. Most have changed to this. Mardi Gras happens every year, what the heck?

They start them young here. Young I say.

Every business from the Alabama Line to The Texas Line are doing this, will show you lots of these, got to get out and take some pics.

Great costumes, very Mardi Gras!

They painted the dang fence ya'll! Look!

Love the wreath, I will make a Chicago Bears One for my door for next year! Love it!

Another crafty Saints Fan. Wonder what the cuffs are for?

Hey older ladies....Sexy uh? Sean Payton, has turned the Aint's around.

The tailgating at the dome was unbelievable yesterday! They even had tailgating costumes. Numbers on the aprons. Too much Too much!

Stay tuned! This is gonna be fun!

Love,

The Bumpkin

Love it! We lived in Metairie growing up for a few years, love to see them going to the super bowl but it's so funny that you say that about the Christmas tree, because my aunt emailed me a picture and her Christmas then mardi gras tree is a saints tree now, love that the super bowl in during the first week of mardi gras, I hope they will have even more to celebrate.

One of my best friends died suddenly last December. He was the biggest Saints fan. We are saying that he is the 12th man helping them out this year!
