Dress To Kill

I have all these pictures of dresses that I love stashed in my archives here and there. It's hard to get them all out there, but they are images, I believe you guys will love, so we are going to start a new series here called Dress To Kill, kill for it, is what it boils down to. Here we go.....Sometimes a girl has just got to sparkle.






Shoes anyone?

Something so sexy about white......What's the look on her face? It's like she's saying, I'm scared but please sweep me off my feet, and ravage my body. Odd?

The model is just a form to hang the dress on here, rarely happens like that, but oh yes, this dress is the spotlight.

My, my, my, sigh........

Very bumpkin, yep, yep, yep, very Bumpkin. My girl, Poppies and Sunshine threw this one out there last week.

I wish I could tie a scarf like this, never comes out the right way, though. When you have curly hair, a hair day like this is considered a masterpiece, right Curly Girls? Love the bohemian feel in this dress.

Glamour sunglasses, and great hair to compliment this lavender lovely here.

I just love this picture, great click, and editing ya'll, look close. Here's the amazing part. You can see the street inside the globe perfectly, how did they do that? What a great click.

Raining pretty hard today here, makes me worry about that Captain of mine. He woke me up this morning with a phone call, I loved that, first thing I hear is the sound of his voice. Their pattern and schedules have been thrown for a loop by Obama and his no fly zone over us right now, some men usually don't have to take the trip on the boat in to the rigs, they fly. Everybody's a sailor with Obama in town, so Captain John is a busy man. He sends his love to you all.

I did nothing. Not one load of laundry, and we ate out, unless My John cooked.
However I did manage to watch the first season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Of course, I am addicted now. My favorites Jacqueline and Caroline.
They have managed to divert the oil geyser out there in our Gulf. Doesn't change much, for us, but it's postive for the extended coastline.
I may have also gotten a nice load of clothes, shoes, and purses, on a impromptu shopping spree.

I basically could recite almost all the dialogue, which is disturbing, I realize. But I am sort of a teenage fanboy locked in a girl's body. I'm so into it -- guns and drugs and sex and long fingernails and satin jumpsuits ... what's not to love?"

A quick fashion fix:
A great pair of high heels; a good shade of lipstick; a stiff drink.


Stacy's biggest fashion pet peeve is anything Jennifer Lopez or Pink is wearing.

Her favorite designers are Yeojin Bae, Marc Jacobs, Chloe, Yves Saint Laurent,Mat and Nat (me too Stacy, My Mat and Nat purses are some of my favorites).

A perfectly styled guise will get a memorable "Shut Up!"

When I was on the cusp of 40, someone suggested I look for famous women who were 40 to console myself a bit. Knowing that Stacy is 40 makes the fabulous attainable in my book.

Hope For the Flowers is a 1973 children's novel by Trina Paulus. Hope for the Flowers is an enduring fable about two caterpillars, Yellow and Stripe, and their struggle to climb to the top of a caterpillar pillar only to discover they were meant to fly. It all starts when Stripe, the main character, first hatched from his cocoon. He began his life by eating the leaf he was born on. He realized that there was much more to life than just eating the leaf he lived on. He looked for a way to get up in the sky when suddenly he found himself at the base of a pillar made up of caterpillars struggling to get up in the sky as well. Here he meets Yellow who also wants to get to the top but feels bad about stepping on everybody. They go down the pillar and live together. But Stripe's curiosity grew everyday and finally he decided that he will get to the top. Yellow however found out that to find their particular "more" or who they really are, is to enter the cocoon and try to be a butterfly. She triumphed and could then show Stripe what their life was really all about. Stripe then also makes a cocoon and at the end they fly off together.
